Robinhood is making a bigger bet on the prediction-market boom, striking a multiyear deal with OG.com while taking equity stakes in the company and Crypto.com.
Under the agreement, Robinhood will route retail event-contract volume through OG.com’s CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange and clearing infrastructure. The partnership is expected to become OG.com’s largest business-to-business prediction-market relationship by transaction volume.
But the equity component makes the deal more significant.
Robinhood will hold initial stakes in OG.com and Crypto.com, with the investment priced in line with the recent Citadel Securities investment that valued Crypto.com at $20 billion and its newly independent OG.com business at $5 billion.
The partnership gives Robinhood access to additional liquidity and exchange infrastructure as it expands its prediction-market business across sports, elections, financial indicators, economics and other events.
The timing is also notable. Prediction markets have become one of Robinhood’s fastest-growing businesses, with the company expanding its offering ahead of the NFL season and the 2026 U.S. midterm elections. Robinhood has already been working with multiple venues, including Kalshi, ForecastEX and its own Rothera platform, making the OG.com agreement another way to diversify its market infrastructure.
For OG.com, the deal provides something equally valuable: access to Robinhood’s large retail customer base. The company was recently spun out of Crypto.com and is now focused on building a standalone prediction-market and derivatives business.
The broader shift is clear. Prediction markets are increasingly being treated not simply as a niche betting product, but as a financial-market opportunity. Robinhood is positioning itself to capture that growth from both sides—as a distribution platform and now as an investor in the infrastructure behind the market.
Robinhood isn't just selling prediction markets to its users anymore. It's putting its own money behind the market infrastructure powering them.
